You are the solution. You count! You can make an impact
What will you do to encourage participation in the 2010 Census?
Here are some examples for what members from BLKC are doing:
· Setting the example by increasing personal awareness about the census
· Telling others to complete and mail back census form
· Creating awareness conversations with family, community, and professional networks.
· Informing others to visit the official census website, if they have questions related to the 2010 census
· Using social networking to remind family and friends that census forms are mailed to households in March and Census Day is April 1, 2010.
Share with the BLKC, what you will do to encourage participation in the 2010 Census
Make sure you are counted.
Your count is one step closer to providing solutions. The BLKC encourage you to take part in the 2010 Census. When communities, schools, and cities are face with challenges, data from the census can provide funding to address some of the difficulties.
The federal government will determine how much each city receives based on data from the census.
Data from census influence local and state key decisions related road expansion, new school construction, health care facilities, and areas impacting our way of life. Data from the census affects all areas of our life.
You are the solution to creating a greater future for our Community, State, and Nation. Every returned census form counts. Also encourage others in your family, community, and network to participate. Remember to fill out the questionnaire and mail it back.
